Following on from the excellent first hardback collection of this damned fine zombie series this volume collects issue #13 through to #24, along with the covers for each issue. I know there are a ton of zombie comics out there, but Kirkman and Adlard have really created something special – like George Romero’s zombie movies they infuse commentary on society and politics with the creeping, flesh-munching horror and the drama of being among the last group of humans still alive and under siege - one of my favourite current comics series. If you have missed the comics issues or the individual paperback graphic novels these large hardback collections are a perfect way to catch up and are pretty good value too.
