to announce the signing of an all new, all-ages series of graphic novels,
entitled Korgi. Christian Slade, a former
Disney animator and currently full-time freelance illustrator, has brought to
Top Shelf a gorgeously illustrated woodland fantasy about a young girl Ivy, her
dog Sprout, and their amazing adventures in Korgi Hollow.
The first Korgi graphic novel will debut this Spring, as well as
appear in Top Shelf's next Free Comic Book Day Book (The Owly & Korgi FCBD Book), with an original Korgi story and cover to introduce everyone to this new
series. This amazing combination of adventure and fantasy will appeal to anyone
who loves Andy Runton's Owly and Jeff Smith's Bone. Get ready for the launch of something very daring
and very new! Top Shelf has created their first ever video trailer for this book, which truly looks gorgeous. This is a truly beautiful, wordless piece of fantasy which will be wonderful for kids but has more than enough wonder and charm to draw in even an old cynic like me. Lovely
