Harvey Pekar achieved fame by writing about his own everyman existence in American Splendor and his more recent The Quitter. Now he's found the everyman for a new generation of graphic novel readers. Enter Michael Malice — a slight, un-intimidating young man who never really stood out in a crowd.
Michael grew up in Brooklyn, went to college and then he got a string of nowhere temp jobs. Then future wasn't looking too bright for Michael — until the day he met Harvey Pekar in a restaurant and Pekar decided to do a story on him.
