The first Elemental book was created in partnership with Autodesk almost eighteen months ago. It showcased the world’s best images created with Autodesk 3D visualization and animation software. Elemental 2 adds to the success of the first volume by featuring great artwork in the several areas which Autodesk dominates.
Elemental 2 reflects the diverse fields that Autodesk products occupy including motion pictures, TV, games, architecture/design visualization and artistic 3D creations. Advisory Board High profile practitioners in the fields of movie visual effects, architecture, game and software development joined the Elemental 2 advisory board including: Benoit Girard; Pascal Blanché; Michael Flynn; Peter Moxom; Susannah Skerl; Robert Stava; Vincent Brisebois; Marcin Wasko; and Maurice Conti.
ELEMENTAL 2 AWARDS
The Elemental 2 Awards celebrate the highest artistic achievement in a diverse range of categories and styles. Master and Excellence were awarded in eleven categories including: Architectural Public Interior; Architectural Residential Interior; Architectural Reconstruction; Architectural Exterior; Character in Action; Character in Repose; Product Design; Abstract & Design; Environment; Gaming/Broadcast Design; and Transport. A total of 39 awards were given among the 158 artists featured in Elemental 2.
