Do you have a Web site? If so, you can earn cash at www.forbiddenplanet.co.uk by joining our affiliate program.
Who can participate?
Anyone who has a Web site that is deemed to be 'clean' by our web team. (We will not accept websites offering spam services, advertising warez, P2P services or pornographic material).
PPC Restrictions
We currently have no restrictions on terms and phrases used to promote our program via Pay Per Click Search Engines.
So how does the affiliate program work?
Our affiliate program makes it easy for you to earn money for sales that come from your site to ours. You place special links and/or banners to Forbidden Planet International on your web site. When someone follows those links and buys any product from our store, we record it and know to give you commission for the sale. At the beginning of each month we calculate your combined commissions and if your total is more than £15.00 then we will send you a cheque. If your total is not more than £15.00 then that will be carried over to the following month ready for you to earn more commission.

Forbidden Planet International is Europe's largest retailer of cool Television, Movie and Comic Merchandise. Our staff are primarily fans of the items we sell so we know a lot about our products and enjoy speaking to our affiliates about them. Whether you have a Star Wars fan site or Buffy you will find products to advertise, and you can join our expanding community of affiliates earning money each month.

Nothing ... nadda ... zip - we hope it will EARN you money!
Do I get commission from all sales?
Yes. The unique links we provide you will track your visitors wherever they go on our site. You will get commission on everything they buy. In addition, if someone visits our site through your link, and then returns up to 30 days later to make a purchase, you will still get credit for that sale.
I am not in the UK, can I join?
Yes indeed, but we will only issue payment cheques in pounds Sterling
So how much money can I earn?
We do not cap the amount of money that you can earn, for each sale you generate we give you a starting 4% commission rate. For example... If a visitor from your website clicks on a special banner, and then buys a Kotobukiya C3P0 & R2-D2 Figure (retailing at £72.99). This will earn you £3.00.
And this is only the beginning. If you continue to generate good commissions on our website then we may increase your rate. For example if your track record on your Affiliate Account proves that you are earning serious amounts then we will take steps to make sure you benefit from the scheme!

When will I be paid?
We will pay commissions assuming that your balance with us is more than £15. Payment is issued the following month you made the sale. For example for sales made in January, payment will be issued at the beginning of February. If you don't earn £15 in a month, your total will be rolled over to next month. All payments are calculated after the deduction of UK Vat (a government tax).
Forbidden Planet cannot accept responsibility for commission lost due to -
* Forbidden Planet International's suppliers cancelling items
* Forbidden Planet International's suppliers short delivering items to Forbidden Planet International
* Customers referred from the Affiliate site cancelling their order prior to delivery
* Errors in links to Forbidden Planet International generated by the Affiliate site
* Technical failure of either the Forbidden Planet International site or the Affiliate site

Affiliate Terms and Conditions
Enrolment in the Program
You agree that all information in your application is true and accurate and understand and accept that any false information will result in the termination of your application. Applications are to be considered accepted and approved by us upon remittance by you. You will receive notification to confirm the approval or disapproval of your application. If your application is terminated for this or any other reason after it has been accepted, you automatically and immediately forfeit all commissions earned that have yet to be paid to you from the time of termination or decline. This is so because the commissions will have been earned under false pretences and are, therefore, invalid.
Linking To Our Site
You are responsible for ensuring that any link used is error free. Any errors in links and subsequent mistracking of commissions are your sole responsibility and you will not be compensated for them by Forbiddenplanet.co.uk in any form.
Unsolicited Email
It is against your affiliate agreement to advertise the Forbiddenplanet.co.uk URL via unsolicited email. Some people may think that your "spam" email originates from us, damaging our reputation and causing us administrative problems. DO NOT send unsolicited email to promote Forbiddenplanet.co.uk or your account will be terminated, without notification and forfeiting all outstanding commissions.
Responsibility for Your Site
You will be solely responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of your site and for all materials that appear on your site. You will be specifically and solely responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
The technical operation of your site and all related equipment, creating and posting of a product description on your site and linking that description to our site, the accuracy and appropriateness of descriptions posted on your site (including, but not limited to, all product-related materials), ensuring that materials posted on your site do not violate or infringe upon the rights of any third party (including, but not limited to, copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or other personal or proprietary rights), and ensuring that materials posted on your site are not libellous or otherwise illegal.
We disclaim all liability for these matters. Further, you will indemnity and hold us harmless from all claims, damages, and expenses (including, but not limited to, attorneys' fees) relating to the development, operation, maintenance, and contents of your site.
Period of Agreement
The terms of this agreement will begin upon our acceptance of your Program application and will end when terminated by either party. Either you or we may terminate this agreement at any time, with or without cause, by giving the other party notice of termination generated by email. You are only eligible to earn referral fees on sales of Qualifying Products occurring during the term, and fees earned through the date of termination will remain payable only if the related orders are not cancelled or returned. We may withhold your final payment for a reasonable time (as determined by us) to ensure that the correct amount is paid.
