Comics: Rob Jackson’s Storytellers…
No chance to review this one yet, but Rob was kind enough to send along some pages from his latest work. It’s by far his most ambitious to date… an 80-page book telling of the myths and legends of the Jackson family, as passed down the generations.
As is usual with Jackson, it’s something almost completely different from anything he’s attempted before. He did autobiography with his magnificent ‘It’s a man’s life in the ice-cream business‘ but this is his first memoir.
As I say, I haven’t read it yet, but it’s telling that every time a Rob Jackson comic comes through the door I expect two things; first that I’m going to go somewhere different from last time I read his work, and second, I’m going to enjoy being taken there.
The Storytellers is available from Rob Jackson’s website.
