Out in the shops Wednesday 11th September.
Okay then, back with the variant covers for this special issue, another on of those ‘lets wind them all up to make way for a clean slate jumping on issue next time’. Which means that Clint Langley photo real, loads of computer shite double cover sits over just four strips all of which finish this issue, including (oh, be still my heart) a double episode of Langley on Slaine.
So inside we have John Wagner and Ben Willlsher on Dredd where we see the saga of Judge Bender come to a conclusion, Worley & Davis-Hunt’s Age Of The Wolf wrap up with Rowan facing down the cuddly wolves, and the excellent Ten-Seconders by Rob Williams and Edmund Bagwell, before it all wraps up with a double sized Slaine by Pat Mills and Clint Langley.
Oh, and we’ll leave you with this… the line up for the next issue, that special 1850 Prog. Dredd of course, the return of the wonderful Brass Sun by Edginton and Culbard (yay!), Damnation Station – new to me, Al Ewing and Boo Cook were on it last time I believe.
Oh, and Flesh. Great. The return of the first strip in my reading of 2000AD that I really, really didn’t like. I’m going to try to keep an open mind, I really am….
